Safety & Vetting
Every instructor who teaches through Onsight completes the same process before being matched with a student:
- A background check
- A skills evaluation and teaching demonstration in their subject or instrument
- Reference checks with prior teaching or tutoring supervisors
An instructor is not assigned to a student until the background check returns approved.
Lesson scheduling and messaging run through Onsight rather than personal accounts, and families are welcome to observe any session, in person or virtually.
If you have questions about how instructors are vetted, email info@onsighteducation.com or call (503) 893-4243.
